The World Best Insurer editorial team researches, verifies, and publishes insurance comparison data across 12 markets — India, the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. Every product record in our database is sourced from one of three primary places: the regulator's filing (IRDAI in India, NAIC in the US, FCA in the UK, APRA in Australia, MAS in Singapore, BaFin in Germany, IA in Hong Kong, and the equivalents in our other markets), the insurer's own published policy wording and rate card, or the insurer's annual report for financial-strength and claim-settlement metrics. We do not source from third-party aggregators, secondary blogs, or sales material. Records carry a confidence score reflecting whether all relevant fields were verified within the last ninety days against primary sources, and a 'Last verified' date that lets readers see how fresh each record is. When we find an error we correct it and bump the verification timestamp publicly. Our editorial position is straightforward: we do not sell insurance, we do not take affiliate fees, and we do not accept paid placement. Every link on the site that leads to an insurer leads to the insurer's own domain — we are not in that transaction. This is a comparison platform for buyers, not a sales funnel for insurers. The team's analytical work is published in three formats: the Learn section covers practical how-to and buying guides; the Reports section runs annual deep-dives on specific markets and categories; the Finance section publishes weekly research on the financial planning angles a buyer should understand before choosing between two otherwise-comparable plans. The product database itself — the comparison tables you see on /compare and on individual product pages — is updated continuously rather than on a publishing schedule.
